Hari Ram College Mairwa

Hari Ram college Mairwa is a constituent  unit of Jai Prakash University, Chhapra (Bihar) situated on the bank of the Jharahi river and connected to roadways and railways, it is in vicinity of the Hari Ram Brahm temple at Mairwa Dhamm and nearest to Jiradei, the the birth place and native village of Dr. Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India. The campus of College has natural surroundings and green trees are its attraction.

Named after a great soul of the region Baba Hariram, the College was established in 1965 by the general meeting of the people of Mairwa block. The foundation committee included Lt. Gopal ji Shahi Lt. Raj Banshi Singh (chairperson), (Secretary) and Lt. Radhakrishna Singh (Joint secretary). The building of the College was built by the contribution made by the farmers of the sugarcane purchase and sell union of Mairwa . It was affiliated to Bihar University Mujaffarpur in July, 1966. It was converted in to constituent College on 01.01.1980 by the govt. of Bihar

Vision - To inculcate those values which have been emanated from Indian ethos keeping in mind the all round development of students. To impart education in such a way which ultimately culminates in minimizing  the dichotomy between personal and public interests and thus making every student a worthy citizen of our motherland.

Mission -Striving hard to impart education with the help of traditional as well as modern techniques. Prepare students to think on their own and making manifest what has already been latent in them. Everyone is unique in itself , so make them aware of their uniqueness and channelize those things with a view to furtherance the cause of humanity.
